Work culture is good. Good work-life balance.
There's a lot of politics in the team.
HR recruiting policy is the worst.
The experience required for a job mentioned in the JD is only for show. Less experienced people with referrals are placed in those positions, and AMD is paying more for them.
Be careful, AMD. A few employees are conducting training for outside individuals for money. They are referring and recruiting them.
Simply put, they are doing training and consultancy work outside of AMD. (Training = 30k, and placement = some amount).
Recently, a friend of mine joined AMD as an FT in Hyderabad. I was surprised how he got the job without relevant knowledge, and he confirmed all this. I am not ready to mention their names here, but please inform the managers and avoid this.
Otherwise, AMD will become worst due to placing non-relevant employees.
The interview process was easy to schedule and go through. Two interviews back to back. A rude interviewer who did not allow me to answer questions that he asked. Mostly a resume screening, although he did not want to hear about my experience.
This stage is a one-on-one conversation with the Hiring Manager. It's designed as a deep dive into your CV, where you'll be asked to elaborate on your past experiences, specific projects, and key achievements. Be prepared to provide detailed exampl
Screen interviews were followed up with other interviews. Most companies follow almost the same process. The initial screen was to check basic knowledge, with follow-up interviews focusing on more technical depth.
