Good experience but not enough guidance
The people on my team were nice and supportive. They gave me meaningful projects that contributed to the work we did and were happy to help when I got stuck.
Overall, a robust intern program. There were lots of intern and team-building activities outside of work. The university relations people were great and reached out after graduation to set up interviews for full-time roles. It was a great experience.
Lack of overall guidance or mentorship. Goals for my internship weren't ever explicitly laid out, nor were there regular meetings to determine direction or progress.
Require all managers create an internship/co-op plan prior to interns starting, and have meetings to discuss.
