The company makes some strange business decisions. It has to cut the workforce frequently because of such decisions. AMD doesn't seem too keen on innovation, just following in the footsteps of others.
Management needs to go out to more shows and conferences to gain an understanding of consumer needs. Management should also foster ideas generated from the engineering team, instead of only marketing-driven requirements.
