Fun, but it depends on what team you work for
This is a reflection of my internship at AMD.
I found the workplace environment and facilities pretty nice compared to my other jobs. The salary is also very competitive.
I had quite a bit of flexibility and independence with my work.
The workload usually comes in waves depending on the product cycle.
I never found myself overwhelmed, but I know a few people that had to pull several all-nighters.
My team was great, but I also heard some horror stories.
The usual bureaucracy of large companies.
