Pros

With global footprints in Asia, North America, and Europe, engineers have a chance to travel and implement their projects across the company during financially healthy periods, exposing them to different cultures.

Cons
  1. During good times, senior managers and above travel at their own discretion, usually 3-4 times in a quarter. Thus, the budget for hands-on engineers is cut down.

  2. Over the years, there have been no positive earnings made on a fiscal year. You can see positive earnings in certain quarters, but at the end of the year, it would be a miracle if you see one.

Advice to Management

Be very cautious on travel budget.
