Pros

Large company with decent benefits and a decent work campus.

Opportunities for advancement within the company through promotions or moving to new positions.

Opportunity to relocate to other cities where AMD has offices.

Some great people to work with.

Cons

From what I have seen, across the board, all levels of management can give the impression that they may not be the best people suited for their jobs. Why is it that the least qualified almost always seem to lead?

Advice to Management

Out with the old, in with the new. Promote within, and promote wisely. Good things are bound to happen when you have competent leadership.

Think of the potential benefits: a huge boost in morale, increased creativity, productivity, and profits. Yeah, and in this case, it's all about change you can really believe in.
