Process

Met at a career fair and then got an on-campus interview. It was purely behavioral, with one brain teaser/kind of technical question. It went well, so I got an invite for a full-day on-site interview.

It consisted of four parts:

  1. Behavioral (30 minutes): The behavioral interview was really easy and laid back. The questions were your general behavioral questions. My interviewer was very nice and seemed to genuinely be interested in my answers.

  2. Technical (1 hour): The technical interview consisted of two parts. The first part was a 20-minute Q&A of general Java questions, multithreading, testing, etc. The questions were specific at times, but the interviewers were very understanding and nice when I didn't know an answer. The second part consisted of two whiteboard coding questions. The first question was pretty easy once you realized the pattern. The second question built off of the first and was quite tricky, but my interviewers were able to guide me to the right answer.

  3. Written Exam (1 hour): This exam consisted of 5 multiple-choice and 2 coding questions. The multiple-choice questions were pretty easy and covered material you should have learned in your intro to programming and OS classes. The two coding questions were LeetCode easy, so they were not bad at all.

  4. Q&A Panel: We were able to ask past ADEPTs questions about the program.

Overall, the process was very well organized, and everyone was really nice. The new campus is beautiful and looks very promising and exciting.
