The ability to travel anywhere in the world is unmatched.
Office culture is pretty understanding and guides new engineers to know established processes.
Maintenance engineering does not frequently require the use of very technical engineering skills like design and mainly focuses on problem-solving.
If you want to advance as an engineer in cool things like design or test engineering, AA is not for you.
If you're good working and writing maintenance instructions, and working with mechanics on parts and repairs, this is more of your thing.
