Great company! Retired due to work slow-down due to the pandemic
I would like to come out of retirement.
I feel younger than my years and can be a valuable contributor in a work-from-home scenario, preferably as a technical writer.
I have 40 years of varied, high-tech engineering experience in both the oil & gas industry and the airline & aerospace industry.
The pandemic resulted in a drastic slowdown in air travel, which greatly affected the company's cash flow. Otherwise, I would not have left full-time employment.
Respectfully, just be aware that if engineers do their jobs correctly, things run very smoothly. However, because of that, those folks can sometimes become somewhat invisible from the 30,000 ft view.
