Good experience and position, but low pay compared to other companies
Using the latest technologies and languages (open source included), great coworkers, a really nice and new campus.
Compared to other companies, the pay is on the lower side. Pay raises are based mainly on how popular you are with managers instead of your work. Pay raises are also extremely low, around the 2% range. The company likes to say it is because of the airline's debt, but will then give the CEO a $30 mil pay raise. American is also starting to send everyone back to the office, even though most meetings and interactions will be through Teams meetings.
Provide better pay raises for employees who are loyal and do great work for the airline.
Allow at least a 2-day in-office, 3-day at-home hybrid schedule.
