Work-life balance Laid-back culture
Politics all over.
Unfair interview process. Hiring manager influences candidate selection even if unqualified. Appoint inexperienced candidates as tech-leads/BAs if you are closer to the Manager. Stale workforce - QAs don't like to code or promote automation. Outdated codebase. Lack of motivation to improve or move to latest technologies. People were grandfathered into being tech-leads and managers and don't have any competence. AA.com doesn't work well with acquisitions - divisive and non-inclusive culture.
Especially in AA.com - Get rid of managers who are very oblivious of what happens in their teams.
Favor candidates who are worthy of the job.
Follow a fair and steady procedure for interviews and candidate selection.
Bring in good management; it needs a major overhaul.
Don't set bad examples for everyone by picking inexperienced/unsuitable candidates for the job.
You can't make a well-experienced team of individuals who have been in the industry for more than a decade work under someone with a year of experience bossing them around as a tech lead.
