I applied online and a recruiter reached out to schedule a phone screen. An autobot email delivered my rejection, even though I had been connected with a human recruiter. It was pretty disappointing to get a robot rejection after investing time in engaging with people.

AMEX misstated the salary between the posted job I applied to and what the recruiter quoted to me over email. The online job description range was $90-165k; the recruiter quoted a range of $125-135k, which is a full $30k below the public high end of the range.
