Pros: Pay is good, work is challenging and motivates growth. Developer experience setup is excellent.
Cons: Work-life balance is basically non-existent, and it seems to worsen with seniority. Employers expect to be on call basically 24/7. Managers seem distant and unreachable.
As a contractor, there are virtually no benefits.
