A recruiter contacted me and asked if I knew Python. When I said yes, I was scheduled to do a coding challenge remotely.
After passing that, I was scheduled for a 3-hour, 3-panel interview.
The first panel asked me questions about how I would handle hypothetical situations.
The second panel asked me about industry buzzwords, although the main interviewer talked about himself and his family for about 3/4 of it. I am not sure what that was supposed to test for. Patience, I guess?
They walked me out after that panel.
The person who led me out said that my Python was not important for this position; they were looking for knowledge of Java. Bullet dodged.
How would I handle a server outage at 3 AM?
