The HR screening about your experience and interview process was very friendly.
The video interview lasted for 1 hour. It was divided equally between technical questions about Java and abstract reasoning.
I was surprised that there were no questions about past experience or projects. The interview included in-depth questions about a few Java interfaces (Set, List, Map), and I was expected to know some method names and explain how they work.
In my 2 years of Java experience, I have never used some of these methods, and if I had, not enough to remember them. I'm not sure this is the best way to evaluate skills.
