Software Engineer Interview Experience - Vellore, India
Process
The first round was a coding test on Codility, comprised of three questions.
Then, there were three more rounds: two technical and one HR.
My first round was very strange, as the interviewer touched upon almost all concepts, even those not listed on my CV. He asked about Java, OS, DBMS, Cloud, Backend, etc.
He then asked me to devise a solution for searching on Google. I solved it using a Trie and cleared this round.
In the second round, he asked about my project and gave me a question involving a stack.
In the final HR round, he asked a couple of questions, such as 'Tell me about yourself' and 'Why Amex?'. Overall, it went well, but I was not selected.
