Pros: Great company, great co-workers, competitive pay. The technical bar is a little low, with low expectations around work completion.
Cons: Some co-workers are not super technical. Most of the engineers who work at AMEX have been there their whole career. A lot of enterprise IT means you do not get to touch a lot of technology and are black-boxed into one way of doing things, unless you're on a cutting-edge team.
