A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. I completed a phone screen with him, followed by a video call with the hiring manager. This interview was mostly focused on culture fit questions. The hiring manager was 10 minutes late and apologized, so the interview lasted only 20 minutes.
Afterward, I received an automated rejection email. I reached out for feedback and was told they couldn't provide any, as their lawyers advised them against doing so.
I've never heard of a company being legally advised not to give feedback. This has left me confused and with a poor impression of the company.
