I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks.
- Phone call with an HR recruiter: To talk about company culture and objectives, and a brief overview of experience. It was very simple and straightforward.
- Next step with the hiring manager for the team: A more in-depth discussion of experience and a handful of first-principles questions (GD&T, material properties, etc.). Hiring managers seem to be on the younger end (early 30s).
If rejected, don't expect any further communication to get feedback, as it doesn't happen. Recruiters don't try to follow up, which is annoying, but makes sense since they are hiring people so fast and can't keep talking to multiple candidates.

Pros: It's the best place I've ever worked. People are overwhelmingly positive. The work is interesting. It seems like there's always something new happening. You largely get to define your role, as managers are very hands-off. The food is great and free.
Cons: It's a lot and pressure is high, so there can be conflict due to that.
We're moving fast and processes are not well defined.
We've hired so quickly that knowing who to talk to and what has been done is difficult.
