A recruiter reached out through LinkedIn. I then had a quick call with the recruiter to go over a couple of potential roles before applying online. The first screen was a 1-hour Zoom call, with 30 minutes to discuss my background and 30 minutes for a live coding problem. The last round was at Anduril HQ, lasting 4 hours back-to-back (with a 30-minute lunch break), including two live-coding rounds, one system design, and one behavioral interview.
I enjoyed the experience overall. The recruiting team was very nice and prompt with their communication, providing as much information as possible to prepare me. I truly felt welcomed. The interviewers were professional and communicative. I received helpful feedback during my live-coding and system design sessions. I found the system design round to be the hardest, as the problem was not something I was very familiar with. I didn't do well in one coding session, but I think this is a matter of practicing more LeetCode medium and hard problems.
I received a courtesy call about my final result and some feedback about my interview. I believe the feedback was fair and understandable as to why I was not selected.
