Pros: Benefits, culture, cool projects, fun work.

Cons: Chaotic sometimes, changing priorities, disorganization.

Pros: Fast-paced, intelligent people. A good positive culture. Benefits: * Gym * Food * Stock options * Great health insurance

Cons: 401K matching is not provided.

Pros: Newer company means new facilities. Used to offer perks like free lunches, and still offers subsidized lunches at a low cost. Equity compensation. Unlimited PTO. Use it!

Cons: Moving between groups is discouraged. A realignment meant many folks were demoted from the level they were hired in at. Demanding pace and hours. Work/life balance is difficult, and long hours and last-minute tasking are common. Artificial deadlines from leadership mean groups work as if there is a surge, but the surge never ends. Focus is on urgency rather than efficiency, and frequent pivots make most work a constant scramble. Equity is offered as an incentive, but no overtime for salaried employees. Dunning-Kruger effect; leadership will get rid of people who are knowledgeable and capable but aren’t “yes-men”.
