Process

This company is for the young and hungry.

For those who have not started their careers and are happy to be reduced to a sub-human.

The moment I received the CodeSignal assessment, opened it, and was greeted with the most arbitrary CompSci 101 final question accompanied by an essay of contradicting instructions and context, I simply exited it.

As an MLE with over 10 years of experience, I honestly don't know if I would have performed well or not. However, I have enough self-worth to know that a company that sends such an assessment before so much as an email from a human is not a company worth my time to even attempt.

Questions

Write an application for an in-memory database for factory workers. It should have functions to add employees and track time in and time out.
