I just had phone interviews. I passed the first one with an engineer, but I guess I failed the second one with a researcher.
What he said is there is already a candidate who almost is going to accept the offer, but I guess he just lied to avoid conversation with me.
I followed up with the recruiter, and she ghosted me.
That was a sad experience.
