Engineer Interview Experience - Cupertino, California

Process

I was told to meet at Apple HQ for an in-person interview. The interviewer arrived late, but was very friendly. The interview went long, with questions and discussion that varied from the very technical and esoteric to more personal topics, such as dealing with people.

There was some talk about travel requirements and a mention of a possible second interview. However, there has been no formal scheduling of the next interview so far.

All in all, the interviewer talked as much, if not more, than I did. The setting and environment were very comfortable, and the interviewer seemed more interested in the questions I asked than my answers.
