Pros: Self-driven work environment.
Very good managers with in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on attitude.
Hands-on work environment: everyone, including managers, must actively contribute to the product design and implementation.
Very efficient work environment with minimum communication and bureaucratic overhead.
Extremely fast decision making, not always consensus-driven.
Very good salary and large RSU (stock) grants.
Cons: - Need-to-know policy: You are very concentrated on your component and not aware what colleagues in other teams are working on.
- Long working hours with evening meetings across time zones.
- Depending on your project, you might be working long hours on your own with relatively few interactions with other teammates.
