Process

Interviewed in January. The recruiter reached out in December.

I had a video call with the hiring manager (technical Swift, Xcode performance discussion) which went great and they decided to move me to the final stage. I was supposed to have four 45-minute rounds.

  1. Asked technical Swift questions and a coding problem.
  2. Interviewed with a senior and junior developer. The senior developer was cutting out at the beginning of the interview; we couldn't hear him. When he started asking questions, I got logged out of the Webex meeting. I tried to join without success. The recruiter called on the phone, and we talked while I tried to log back in (it was super stressful). I logged back in and was asked to do a coding challenge (which was not on my resume).
  3. Next, I met with the hiring manager. She asked if I had any questions for her. I knew I was going to be rejected when she asked this.
  4. I was told I was not going to have the fourth interview because there was a conflict in the schedule.

So, I don't know if they think I was lying about not being able to log back in. I also wish some interviewers would take time to review resumes before an interview.
