I attended a preliminary phone interview of about 30 minutes with the hiring manager. He started the interview by saying something about his current role at Apple and what he had done during his first time there.
Then, he asked for details about my personal iOS projects, why I developed them, about my motivation to work at Apple, and about my previous working experiences. He was very calm and patient, and the first interview went well.
The second step involved two more 30-minute technical phone interviews with members of the team. The recruiter asked if I preferred to have the calls on the same or separate days.
I chose to have both interviews on the same day—a wrong choice!
I would not do two interviews in English one after the other again. Anyway, the two interviews were a bit more technical, with questions like:
What would you improve in iTunes, and why?
