There were a total of 5 rounds of interview:
Introduction and skill fit round with the Hiring Manager. He asked questions about my past experience, projects I have worked on, behavioral questions and reasons for change, and my motivation to join Apple.
This was a technical round. The recruiter asked me about my past technical projects, how I solved particular problems, and tradeoffs between React, Angular, and Vue. Then, I was given a JavaScript machine coding problem statement, and I had to code a solution within 30 minutes.
This was another technical interview on algorithms. I had to solve 3 algorithms in 55 minutes.
On-site Hyderabad round: a technical interview, system design questions, performance and optimization, best practices, and all related to frontend.
On-site Hyderabad round: Director of Engineering Round. This was a crucial round focused on behavioral questions and culture fit.
I did not get any response after completing all the interview rounds. I feel Apple recruiters should be professional enough to at least send a response, whether it's a rejection email or some feedback. I did not receive any response for two months, and I simply assumed that I was rejected.
