Senior Machine Learning Engineer Interview Experience - Cupertino, California
Process
Applied online and received a message from the recruiter to chat. The interview consisted of four rounds:
- Recruiter screening.
- Interview with the hiring manager.
- Virtual onsite interview with four separate interviews, each lasting about 45 minutes: a. Coding: Medium LeetCode questions. b. ML technical questions, covering NLP and general ML. c. System design focused on ML systems. d. Coding and behavioral questions.
- Final interview: A statistics question and a technical question.
The interviewers were nice and polite.
After the virtual onsite, the recruiter reached out, stating that the team wanted to set up a final interview. After the final interview, I sent two follow-up emails but never heard back from the recruiter.
