Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Cupertino, California
Process
I had a quick chat with the Hiring Manager and was then invited for a full-day panel interview a few days later.
The panel was friendly and asked relevant questions for the position (no LeetCode).
I received the offer a few days after the interview.
The offer negotiation was quite painful. The recruiter reneged on a verbal offer and then attempted to present a significantly lower offer.
I had been transparent with him about not having competing offers, and he exploited this to lowball me.

There is practically zero support for career development – basically, sink or swim. There's too much of a churn and burn mentality with regards to staff retention.
