I was contacted by an Apple recruiter via LinkedIn. He set up a call to discuss the position and my background.
He was 30 minutes late for the call. After we had the call, he asked me to send him my CV so he could forward it to the hiring manager for the open position. When I did, he replied with a confirmation that he received it and had forwarded it to the appropriate team. He stated he would get back to me once he heard from the hiring manager.
That was a week ago. I don't understand why recruiters try to poach engineers and then don't follow up, especially since my LinkedIn profile and CV are perfectly in sync, leaving no room for surprises once I sent my CV over.
