I was contacted by an Apple recruiter who asked me to fill out a questionnaire first. After a few weeks of silence, and following up with an email, they informed me they didn't like my answers and I was rejected. However, the next day, the recruiter contacted me again, stating it was a mistake and that we could proceed. This was strange. We scheduled an interview for Saturday morning, around 6 AM, as it was the only available slot on their end. Well, okay. The interview consisted of one easy problem and a conversation about my experience with basic questions. It was a pretty easy interview, I'd say. Guess what's next? Four weeks of silence, of course. I sent two follow-up emails, but still no response. This was the worst interview experience ever. Even tiny startups showed more respect and cared more about my time during interviews than Apple. I had a Facebook interview around the same time, and it was a totally different and much better experience than at Apple. Hey guys at Apple, pay attention, learn how things work at Facebook. I would never interview with Apple again.
