I interviewed with an automation engineer at Apple.
I completed the first round, which included a LeetCode-style coding question.
The next round was with the hiring manager.
This interview was the worst of all times.
The manager started the interview with a very rude tone, asking about my experience. I answered all her questions.
She asked, "Why should I hire you?"
I gave her a reason, but she was not interested.
FYI, most hiring managers at Apple are Indian. If you are not one of them, good luck, as Apple is known for being biased towards Indians. Just Google it.
After that, I was ghosted for 5 weeks and then received an automatic rejection email.
Why should we hire you when we have so many other candidates?
The job market is tough, so we will pick the best of the best.
