An Apple recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn. After an initial introductory round, there was a technical phone screen.
After four days, their recruiter called me for an onsite interview in Cupertino.
There were five interviews: three (2-on-1), and two (1-on-1) interviews. After the first four fully technical interviews, the last interview was with the director of engineering, which was a mix of technical and behavioral.
The interviews were not very tough; they asked average questions. Even though I think I did fairly well in the technical interviews, I believe I wasn't well prepared for them, especially the behavioral interview. Questions were related to design patterns, data structures, and algorithms (BST-related multiple problems, queues, linked lists, etc.). There were follow-up questions, such as, "How would you improve time/space complexity?"
How would you design the Evernote app?
Find a circular loop in a linked list.
And other simple questions.
