I had three interviews for the CarPlay team: two technical and one behavioral.
The role was advertised as full-stack plus systems, but I was unexpectedly asked a lot of ML (Machine Learning) questions during the second technical interview, which I did not perform well on.
The recruiter subsequently ghosted me.

Smart People, But Biased Management

Pros: It's full of very smart people. A lot of events are organized, and there are extra benefits.
The campus is nice, and Cafe Macs has really good fresh food.
Cons: In some occasions, there is a bad management of resources, and the choice of employees is based on friendship with the manager instead of on the employee's capabilities. I didn't expect that from a company like Apple.

Pros: Get to work on amazing new stuff that actually ships.
Tens of millions of people run my code every day in their iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Worked with and learned from the best people in the industry.
Tons of mutual respect for all fellow employees.
Confidence: you are at Apple. If it can be done, then we can do it.
Cons: Some teams are better than others.
Some managers would be better engineers.
It's hard to live up to the reputation of Apple.
