manager with poor people skills
Software Engineer • Former Employee
Cupertino, California, United States
December 29, 2009
Pros: High-tech, cool factor, tons of toys, shiny modern offices, a young and mature crowd, and a quiet, safe neighborhood near plenty of good places to have lunch.
Cons: Boss was a good engineer who was promoted way too early, so he had NO people management skills whatsoever. I left after being tired of hearing him scream at us, including senior engineers whom he would get angry at when he was under stress. Boss was unable to manage any kind of stress, even simple pressure coming from juniors who were always nagging.
