Process

I was contacted on LinkedIn by a recruiter for a software engineering role. I had an initial recruiting call to explain the position, which also included some surprise technical questions at the end.

Following that, I had one phone screen with the hiring manager to discuss the role and opportunities, and one technical phone screen with an engineer on the team.

Then, I had a two-day on-site interview:

  • Day 1: 8 people from direct team members (engineering) and related teams.
  • Day 2: 4 people, VPs and directors, who asked more behavioral questions.
