Process

After several phone screens (4), I was flown down to Apple's campus. Everything happened in one week.

The on-site interview was long. It started at 9:15 am and I left campus around 6:00 pm. There were 15 separate 30-minute interviews.

About 4 of them were personality-type interviews to assess whether or not I would be a good fit for the team I would work for, and the rest were all skill-based interviews.

Lots of questions about my skills with Perl, Unix CLI, and Objective-C.

There were many questions geared toward discovering my problem-solving ability. I was asked to write a lot of code on the whiteboard, and my knowledge was pushed to its limits.

Everyone, however, was very kind and very bright. It was a whirlwind of a week.
