I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks.
I interviewed for the Apple Vision Pro Group internship in a 30-minute Zoom call, where the entire session focused on a single question and how I approached answering it effectively.

Pros: Challenging, you have to be able to handle multiple projects at the same time, and also be able to finish tasks on time.
Cons: The job is demanding. You have to love your job to survive.

Onsite Vendor at Apple through Red Oak Technologies
Front-End Web Developer • Former Employee
Cupertino, California, United States
July 3, 2013
Pros: The reputation of the company helps future prospects. The development environment on the front-end is fairly modern, and it's getting more so as time goes on. However, I found the online store to be less cutting-edge than I had hoped.
Cons: Low hourly rate ($1 per minute).
Manager openly stated that they do not want to hire "rockstars" full-time at the Apple Online Store.
There is a fairly anti-competitive atmosphere, especially from some of the senior people trying to hold on to their jobs. It's better to either get on board early after college, or later after establishing yourself at a higher level.

Innovation is not just a word at Apple
Senior QA Manager • Current Employee
Cupertino, California, United States
September 13, 2019
Pros: As the headline says, Apple is always trying to innovate. You may look at the latest phone and think it is just an iteration, but there is so much that has gone into just this device alone that is changing our culture. Face ID, Apple Pay, Siri, and progress with the camera are unlike other competitors.
Cons: Because of the push for innovation, this means you're constantly challenged to improve. This can be exhausting.
