The interview was for the entire day. Nine people were interviewed and drilled with lots of questions, but it was finally very disappointing.
I saw the interviewed people; they were less experienced in identifying the right skills. Interestingly, they were not too sure about what to look for, only engaging in mere blabbering.

Pros: - Great corporate values; do good for people and the planet.
- Top leadership cares and listens to feedback.
- Stock compensation is better than at most companies.
- Learning is substantial; you learn how to stay focused and ship a product.
Cons: - Internal movement is stifled, despite what the senior leadership claims.
- You need to inform your manager if you are interviewing internally.
- There are not enough avenues to grow after a certain point.
- Growth is highly controlled by the manager and director.

Pros: The people and the ability to work on products that benefit a billion people are the main draws.
Cons: Apple is very cheap with benefits, with providing the tools you need to do your job, and with substandard cafeteria food (compared to other tech companies). The pay is significantly lower than its competitors. There is no encouragement of work/life balance.
