The initial phone screen with the recruiter was a positive experience.
However, the subsequent phone interview with the hiring manager was quite different.
The manager called 10 minutes late. He then spent the first 15 minutes of the interview discussing Apple TV before asking if I had any questions, as if the interview was concluding.
I didn't have questions about the product ecosystem, given his extensive overview. I reserved my questions about company culture for the end.
The manager then asked what languages I used in school. I responded, "I largely used Python for my projects." (My resume lists Java and JavaScript, which are what I've primarily used for the past two years.) He then questioned me about including items I know on my resume, which left me quite confused. The interview concluded shortly after as we ran out of time.
Apple, please be more professional; this was a joke of an interview.
