I spoke on the phone with a recruiter who contacted me. Approximately a week later, I spoke with an engineer on the team for the position.
This was a technical interview in which I did not do all too well (my fault), but I was invited to complete a programming project as a follow-up.
The individual interviews were not the reason for the negative rating. The reason is that there was NO communication from Apple unless they needed something. Even when I was still under consideration, they would not answer questions or inquiries, then magically contact me a couple of weeks later.
What data structure would you use to auto-complete a dialer when the phone may have thousands or hundreds of thousands of entries?
