I was interviewed on campus for a software engineer intern position. Two months later, I was contacted for a 30-minute video interview, which I failed.
The two-month waiting period was explained as team matching. However, I was ultimately assigned to a completely different team, working on different tasks than what we discussed on campus during the video interview.
