Process

It was a great experience. - CoreOS Team

Initial screening with manager:

  • Basics of object-oriented programming and some basic OS questions.

After that, I had 6 rounds of onsite interviews via WebEx:

  • Round 1: One basic coding question and discussion about my resume and Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Round 2: Since it was a test engineer role, I was asked to define various test cases and explain how I would handle them.
  • Round 3: Two linked list questions.
  • Round 4: Resume discussion and one coding question.
  • Round 5: Dynamic memory allocation implementation.
  • Round 6: General discussion with the senior manager.

Questions

Some of the questions:

  • Fibonacci series
  • Reversal of Linkedlist
  • Bitwise AND of all numbers between (a, b) where a < b and a & b are integers
