I interviewed for an internship in an SRE team.
The interview process had three stages:
Advice: Train hard on LeetCode and make sure to optimize your solutions (use appropriate data structures!).
Phone screen: Speak about your experience at X. What were your projects?
Now that it’s done, what would you do differently if you could do it again or continue?
Coding Interview: Two people (one with a muted camera who takes notes + one who interacts with you and asks questions).
30 minutes of coding: Interleaving String (medium).
10 minutes of questions:
5 minutes to ask questions to the interviewer.
Apple cultural attributes interview: 45 minutes.
No behavioral questions like in an AWS behavioral interview.
Questions in recent internship/experience: Explaining what you did (responsibilities). Why this subject? Importance of your project for the company. Ask questions to understand every aspect of your project: What did you do (planning)? Explaining what tools you used. Data collection and processing, ETL, storage, scripting, etc.

Apple's interview process for their SRE Engineer roles in France is extremely selective, failing the vast majority of engineers.
