Systems Test Engineer Interview Experience - Culver City, California

Process

An Apple recruiter contacted me a while after I applied.

The usual screening order was HR, followed by a technical interview with the hiring manager, and then an on-site multi-panel interview.

This process included two follow-up phone interviews, not including communications with HR.

The interview process failed to provide relevant technical evaluations on skills important to the role. It was for audio/acoustics testing, but there were no questions specific to that area of knowledge; it focused much more on coding and behavioral questions.

Expect boilerplate interview questions and a lack of appropriate technical questions. Although not explicitly stated, culture fit is clearly a bigger concern than technical ability.
