There were three rounds.
First, there was an introductory call with the recruiter.
Second, there was a 45-minute call with the Team Manager and a senior member of the team. The interview included some basic questions about sheet metal forming and tooling.
Third, there was an intensive round that lasted about 5 hours. During this round, I met different people at Apple who would be interacting with someone in the tooling engineer role. There were many questions assessing the candidate's knowledge of sheet metal forming, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and lean manufacturing.
