Process
The interview started with six coding challenges. These were completed with the interviewer and another person listening in.
The tasks were in JavaScript. Whenever I got stuck, they could help by answering questions or simply listening to my thought process and guiding me in the right direction.
There was not much room for QA about the role or anything else, only the technical coding challenges.

Great culture and leadership, but juniors need more support

Pros: Apple is full of wonderful, talented people, and the technical leadership is inspiring. The company culture is strong, with a genuine focus on diversity, inclusion, and creating a neurodivergent-friendly workplace. Work/life balance is good, which makes it a sustainable place to grow long-term.
Cons: Things can feel a bit chaotic at times, with some organizational turbulence. There’s also an overreliance on contractors, which feels like a workaround to Swedish labor protections. Junior employees, in particular, don’t always receive enough coaching or mentorship, which unfortunately leads to burnout more often than it should.
