good pay than what this job actually deserves.
We are robots in this job. It's like doing factory work on a band but in front of a computer. Endless work.
The job consists of listening to audio snippets all day long, as much as you can, and transcribing. It's a tedious and grueling job. Routine and it never changes. Similar wearisome projects to each other, which won't contribute anything to you. Exhausting time targets. No innovation, no brainstorming, no creativity. It doesn't align with anything that Apple is about.
Don't micromanage. At least make employees happy while they are doing this job. Stop time targets.
They made me feel really comfortable, though I was very nervous. I was given the space to make myself feel at ease and answer the questions. So, I'd say it was a great experience.
A recruiter reached out to me and set a screening call for about 30 minutes. If you're qualified, you will do a language test and then an interview with the annotation team leads.
A recruiter reached out based on my profile. I applied and passed an initial phone screen with the internal recruiter, then progressed to language testing for the role, but was not selected to continue in the process.
