Pros

Above-average pay and perks. Decent personal discount on Apple devices.

Cons

Very secretive, even when it comes to projects you are working on, making it hard to communicate cross-functionally.

Extremely overcrowded. You get invited to meetings that require driving, but when you get there, it's impossible to find parking. Very few teams use web conferencing, making your life very difficult.

Overpriced cafe food. Most of the items are $9, and some are creeping towards $10-$12. There's no reason to choose the cafe over local restaurants since you pay about the same and it's not particularly convenient.

Only selected teams get to go to Apple Campus 2 (Apple Park), and you quickly realize that your team is considered a second-class citizen because you are not working on flashy features.

Help is getting harder and harder to find because of how expensive Cupertino is getting. Apple is making it worse because they continue to build high-density housing without investing a single dime in housing. With hiring taking longer, most management would rather settle for lower-quality hires and get the rack filled quickly, which is very disruptive to current work and projects.

The CEO only fights for causes that get him national attention so he can make headlines. In reality, he doesn't care about any of this. It clearly shows when the company provides zero benefit to the local community compared to other local tech giants.
